Village History

The Village of McCullom Lake was incorporated on April 7, 1955. It was originally designed as a vacation spot for people from the city. The Village has grown from that time and has now become a permanent home for some 1,100 people. We hope to see our Village continue to grow in the future! In 2012, a new McCullom Lake Village Hall was constructed replacing the nearly 40 year old pole barn. The 6,200 square foot building houses the Village administrative offices, police department, maintenance garage, board meeting room, and a community room. The community room may be rented for meetings and gatherings to residents as well as non residents. It is complete with a full kitchen, bathrooms, and plenty of space to arrange the tables to fit any needs; all with a beautiful view of McCullom Lake!
